GO BSU!!! BEAT FRESNO!!!

Aidree attended her first BSU game at Great Grandma Rasmussen's. We had BLT's and corn. Unfortunately for Aidree, she wasn't able to enjoy the corn and bacon. Give it a year or two and she'll be able to partake more in the festivities.
Since we sleep almost all day it only seems fitting to take a pregame nap before we put on our game day gear... that and we had to wait for Aunt Kim to bring over my BSU outfit.
Once we awoke from our nap it was time to get ready. The gear is a little big, but it all worked out. We had to get in the car seat... which is a chore. Being confined is not what Aidree considers fun... but we were able to get a picture of her in the carseat without the tears.
Once we got to Great Grandma Rasmussen's house Aidree was pretty good. She finally got to see Aunt Becky and got to see all the cousins. Someday she'll be able to go outside and play hopscotch with the cousins.

Aidree Lin - A New Angel Among Us

Well, she is finally here. From a biased father's perspective the cutest little girl was just sent to Earth. Aidree finally made it here at 10:16 am, September 12, 2009. It was a tough one and she was so good at growing before she came she really made it difficult for mom. At nearly 9 lbs (8 lbs. and 15 oz.) and a whole 22 inches long she did a number to mom, but thank goodness mom is finally starting to recoup. Aidree didn't come out of the battle unscathed. She got a shiner herself. She was rolled over and was trying to enter the birth canal with her face resulting in a swollen head and a nice shiner. She was cute even with the shiner and swollen face and head, but once the swollen face left she attracted sooo much attention the nurses started hinting we were having too many guests.
She was a big hit with her little girl cousins who were just sooo excited to see her. They just wish she would act her size and play a little with them instead of eat, sleep and cry. Too bad some of them are still too young to hold her. They were so excited and just wanted to touch her and play with her. Some did get to hold her... but with some assistance. :)
Then, of course there were the grandparents and great grandparents. Aidree Lin was named after her two grandmothers (Dree and Linda). She loves just to snuggle with both of them and show them how cute she really is.
Last, but not least, are her parents. We are so excited to finally have our little angel with us. She did a job on her mom, but I think her mom has forgiven her already and thinks she is the greatest. Her dad is just proud of the two women he lives with now. Proud of Tristen's courage and sacrifice during the birthing process, and proud of how precious his little girl is. She truly is our little angel. We hope you all enjoy the pictures and feel of her precious spirit as we get to each and every day!
